Meru Danda Chickitsa massage technique.
Meru Danda in the ancient language Sanscrit means ‘the axis of the world’. The basic principle of the procedure is that the state of health largely depends on the condition of the spine. Likewise all Yoga massages, the massage therapist performs this procedure not only by giving a physial effect, but he also uses prana, the life energy which activates the patient’s energy inside the spine. This Ayurvedic massage is 40 minutes long.
Meru Danda Chickitsa prevents and cures osteochondritis. It intensifies the lymph circulation, eliminates toxins and salt from spinal bones. By the end of this massage course, the ‘axis of the world’, the patient’s spine, will be free from a chronic fatigue and stress. It will make the patient enjoy the lasting results, which give the increasing vitality.
The course consists of 5 theory-and-practice lessons, each lesson lasts for 3 hours.
